Ulta Beauty Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I can't coment on that yet. I'ma new employee.

PTO and benefits like our medical and such

Great health insurance, such peace of mind!

The compensation package is moderate in the current market

I was able to be paid above the mid point range based on previous experience as an external hire.

fairly priced and covers chemo

We have great benefits regarding healthcare, paid maternity leave and PTO. Our pay could be better though

getting 25% off for products and 50% any beauty services

I control how much i make as stylist. But since im in california, we definatly deserve a little more on our hourly wage.

Review from Design Dept

The hourly pay is decent (could be higher-$18) and it's nice to have some options for benefits and retirement as a PT employee.

Annual bonus that we get every year

I loved meeting new people and learning how to have better customer service. The discounts on salon, benefit, and in the store were very good too. All though not all days were the best the team I worked with was amazing.

Review from Sales Dept

Legal services, dental, accidental insurance, 401k, identity theft protection through metlife. It isnt expensive.

Review from Sales Dept

The benefits are nice and taken everywhere.

Makeup perfumes everything inside for skin

Probably the thearpy provided and the discounts

401K and medical for my family.

Benefits, salary, bonus, discount, gratis

Getting half off services is helpful!

The discounts and meeting new clients

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I'm overworked and under paid. I would like a better work/life balance

Give part time employees benefits.

Being paid what I'm worth

A more alive in the soul leader

gratis is not necessarily fair at my specific location. also not getting holiday pay was definitely upsetting for the 2023 season. it is something that i was counting on as part of my paycheck, and to get stiffed like that was hurtful, it almost makes me want to find another job that offers more.

They really need to sit down and see me and go over a strategy of how to make the situation better

Higher pay, lighter workload. They promised the moon but it's lacking

After over 8 years in retail working for some of the biggest brands in the world i should be treated better

I am never acknowledged or spoken to by managemen, i am ignored unless they initiate their hostile behavior

What compensation? The more youve put into the company the less you get paid. New hires often make more than long term employees

Years working with the company, and i get paid less than inexpirienced new hires. My work is impeccable my client retention at 90% . I keep up with trainings. My average tickets are above and beyond. Im not getting paid enough for what I bring in.

Review from Design Dept

I know I make $2 less per hour than the people I work with. I'll feel better about my pay when I take my next job.

Often have to complete work off the clock in order to keep up with demands of the role. Never staffed adequately with knowledgeable associates. Never recognized for successes. Made to feel burdensome for disability accommodations. Getting paid a living wage should be the bare minimum.

I feel undervalued because I am expected to do things outside of my DOR; Something that my fellow management team is not expected to do.

Higher pay. Competition pays better starting off than lead cashiers do.

Bonuses, higher wages and equal pressure would be nice. There is no commision we make besides Salon Experts.

At least $15 per hour is more acceptable. They make us come to work in hurricanes

Positive feedback. Constrctive Criticism. Organization.

The best way for a company to show their appreciation of an employee is to give them Adequate raises. Everyone should be paid at minimum, which for me is $19 per hour.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Currently, I do not have any coverage from Ulta as a part-time worker, but I know that there are some great benefits that I enjoyed as a full-time manager. I unfortunately ended up in a store that needs higher monitoring on pay and equity. This is situational and doesn't represent the whole business
