I can't coment on that yet. I'ma new employee.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I'm overworked and under paid. I would like a better work/life balance

gratis is not necessarily fair at my specific location. also not getting holiday pay was definitely upsetting for the 2023 season. it is something that i was counting on as part of my paycheck, and to get stiffed like that was hurtful, it almost makes me want to find another job that offers more.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We help each other to meet the store goals.
They are amazing. Great working atmosphere.
We have compassion and can communicate with each other
They are super fun and easy to talk to. It's fun to talk about makeup and new products
My teammates are compassionate, wonderful people.

Helping out in all area

Catty and petty attitudes need to be checked at the door.
I'm excluded out of everything they never sit down and talk to me about the store and how it's doing
apparently there is no way to get assistance with maternity benefits with this company. you can be told by the dr it is unsafe to work and will not get paid. you can have the child and still need to wait more than 2 weeks for any answer. 4 weeks with no pay!

Everyone seems to work well together, I enjoy conversations with the guests, and we all love sharing our favorite products and checking out all the newness that comes out
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Hire more people who know what they are doing and actually schedule them
Professionalism, more positive dialogue, excuses for illness and inclement dangerous weather.
Fire stacy from gulf to bay location
Better training for Gm's, Dm's ,managers and any leadership postions. Maybe classes for them to take in how to improve self behaivors and others.

Ask a simple wuestion and dont hire without background checks
They're so easy to find out what's wrong, and they never appraise you for what you did right
There is essentially no training provided.
Actually hiring quality people they hire anyone because turnover rate is so high

Workplace stabitity suffers because of mansgement trestment to employees
The guests who enjoy it enjoy superior customer service which isnt always offered
Customers notice salon behaiviors as catty. Im constantly convincing clients to stay. While stylist with poor attitudes continue to work with less skill , poor work wrhic and same pay as somone with a great attitude and work ethic.
