Company management are professional liars. The companies only goal is to make stakeholders more money at the cost of employee and community safety. The only thing they sell is service and they are terrible at it.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The only product is service. Our customers wait days, weeks, and even months for cars to be delivered. Their products are then delivered late to their own customers.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
A cost of living wage increase that keeps up with current inflation would be a good start. Every year our health insurance costs go up which effectively cancels any raise.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication within the company is the worst. After 150+ years they still can't figure out how to railroad. Every management team has a different idea and approach. All these ideas conflict with one another.
