Pay market and better health insurance coverage, 401K matching and employee discounts
Better trained leadership and staff that isnt so overwhelmed
Corporate demands that we bring in more revenue but cut our hours making us short staffed. We are required to bring in new clients but are already solidly booked with appointments and available staff are mentally/physically exhausted. Corporate doesn't care, they want more revenue no matter what

Better pay and more sick and vacation days. Take better care of their people.
upper management only valued their paychecks, not the little guys who do the unwanted everday tasks caring for kennel animals. Kennel team is not appreciated.
I just don’t feel like we get paid enough for everything that we d
Higher salary, especially since we are short staffed. I would think VCA would want to keep their employees.
Having the flexibility to work more opening shifts so that I can actually support myself without having to rely on local food banks and other programs to lower my bills would be a start
it is a lot of work for the little pay that we get. better bonuses
Since VCA raises their prices multiple times a year, it'd be nice if employees could see that in their paychecks. Drs. get tens of thousands of dollars in raises. The staff gets maybe $600.00 more a year.
Starting wage for CSRs in my area should be $23.00 an hour. The amount of work we do, what is constantly being added to our work load and the level of detail involved requires great skill. We're "talked to" for minor errors, like putting a post it note envelopes instead of writing directly on enve
pay is very low compared to the pressure and work the uppers put on us.
Management does not actually listen to staff problems with efficiently managing the practice. They are generally unfair and not particularly smart. Staff generally regards them with contempt.
I believe the entire field of associates are underpaid for their level of commitment and dedication.
Healthcare benefits are average and 40(1)K match is not competitive. It takes a long time to accrue vacation days.
Reviews and performance evaluations are always promised and lately never actually performed. Pay increases are rare
We do not get paid as much as management. They actually froze raises.
I am a CSR supervisor, and inventory/purchasing manager. I also deal with the plumbers, electricians.. everything. I am essentially the office manager without the recognition or pay
Better management and support. Appreciation to staff that works hard
