actually telling people what they do wrong and not just blow it off.....there is NO supervision any more, god forbid someone be told how to actually do something
Medical knowledge instead of retail
Being leaders, managers, supervisors, being trustworthy, training.
Connection, team building, valuing staff and docs
I'm forced to work in multiple different departments every night. That's not what I signed up for and I deserve to be paid more for it
I would feel better about my compensation if my wage wasn't almost less than half the living wage in my city. I work hard every single day yet could make more stocking shelves in a grocery store with 0 qualifications.
Getting raises in base salary to at least keep up with inflation. Being verbally told I’m valued and I matter by management. Being rewarded financially as a thank you for my years of flexibility and work ethic would be bett
More compensation for all of the emotional and physical labor
Pay market and better health insurance coverage, 401K matching and employee discounts
communication skill, time management, professionalism, accountability, conflict management

to not think their way is the only way, there are actually other ways but most of the time it is one person running the show it seems like and it is let to happen
The employees that are all at the same level are great to work with it is the supervisors that are the issue, its hard to had good moral when you are talked negatively about and employees are excluded if they do not fit in.
Task and time management could be improved
Experience, take ownership and feel connected
More trained and experienced leaders/managers that arent completely overwhelmed. Better communication from above.
Corporates too big now. Paying the big wigs and not the doctors and techs.
Different management skills or management having a different approach to conflict in the work place that does not justify others mistakes with forgetfulness
Stronger leadership and professionalism is going to help improve vca.
Upper management needs to be cleared out and start over with fresh people.
The interviewers, trustworthiness, description of job, understanding the gifts and challenges of the applicant.
Don't lie to the person you are interviewing.
Being honest and understanding how valuable the future employee may be. Offering a proper pay and not hiring for one position and then throwing another one on them after they start. It's bad. VCA GARDEN STATE NJ

Do a better job at understanding what kind of candidate they are interviewing. Being prepared to offer a proper wage. And be honest about their role when being hired .
More skilled based and fair not selective by favoritism
Review from Admin Dept
leadership and management - they do not listen to their employees, no changes are made to better the culture and hostile workplace, no follow up and no corrective action. i left over a year ago and the same things are still occurring (i still talk to the employees i managed)

Lower prices. You're pricing VCA right out of business.
Current staff that works the hardest gets overlooked for promotions.

We don't have the vets to accommodate our clients (we had 5 vets prior to VCA buying our hospital). We have increased our prices 3 times in 2 years
They hold onto the worst employees
Better pay for veterinary technicians and assistants
