I came in with ZERO experience in how this company works, especially within the office. My team makes sure I succeed by mentoring and teaching me. They know that if I succeed, they will too - everyone does. I love that tribe mentality.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
It saved me. I had been looking to change my career for a few years and this is the 5th opportunity that I had. I decided to take another chance and it turned out to be so much more than I had expected. I had never feel this level of respect before and its truly amazing.

Again, I love that they actually care about our well being. I have never worked for a company that was actually FUN (not all the time, but just enough). I love the people here too.

They actually really do CARE!!

I like that they actually care about us - we are not just a number.

The company knows how valuable human connection is. without connecting to your people, you are failing all around.

They genuinely care about us and genuinely value our (my) opinions. The pay rate could be better for my value.

We are all equally committed and "vibe" well together. Each and every member has a very positive outlook and that's refreshing.

They lead with the absolute most integrity and honesty. I trust this company to lead me and my family to success and beyond.

When I get to work in my own space, doing my own thing without a bunch of voices shouting over each other to see who can be heard first
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel my payment compensation is lacking. With everything being inflated these days, it would be nice to have a salary that could help me keep my head above water.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are smart and work together very well. We work through any conflicts with maturity and resolve. They are VERY good at communicating and catching each other's blind spots. I wouldn't trade my team for the world.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Collectively, every person I have met in the company wants to improve themselves, their families as well as the company as a whole. We all know the product is great and making/selling knives is just the platform of a groundbreaking idea that people are helping people.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am given a platform and freedom to speak and give ideas without intimidation. I love that I get to be creative, which makes me thrive like crazy. Also my team is so amazing, they make me happy to be there and be a part of the team.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to work with my team, as well as being able to do what makes me thrive. I love that I have taken jobs assigned to me and made them my own, thus creating my "position/title" within the company and "branding" myself. I feel accomplished nearly every day.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel a tad underpaid, but not undervalued. I do love the benefits I receive however, I know the company could pay us more for what we do. We save the company a LOT of money by doing a lot of work ourselves, whereas before we would outsource, which costs a lot more.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't particularly feel undervalued, especially since I am fairly new to this business (a little more than three years here). However, I do feel that if I was paid a bit more fairly, especially since I am more valuable now than I was the past two years, I would be a lot less stressed, personally.
