I've been here far longer than I ever planned. Every time I had an opportunity to leave, staying was the better option. I've been supported, given the chance to grow, allowed to use my own creativity and judgement to solve problems - it's a very good place to plant roots.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Supportive, respectful, always trying to improve, value family/relationships, appreciate the importance of life outside of work.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Collaborative - creative - respectful (despite the fact that we don't all believe the same things politically)
What makes you most happy at work?
I like what I do and think it brings value to the company. I think our company offers a great opportunity to young people, so I feel that helping our company do better also helps the people we work with.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Understand the challenges of being an employee, a parent, and - this year - a teacher all at the same time. I've felt supported during this really difficult time, and that's not as common in the greater workplace as it should be.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Amazing health insurance. It's a huge burden to have to always worry about if you our your family's health will cost more than you can afford - I've always known our company has our back in regards to our health. They con't cover EVERYTHING - but enough that I don't have to worry.
