Verizon Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Salary is competitive but not great

Comprehensive package, covers lots of needs

It always varies based on channel.

Medical benefits and 401k brnefits

the medical is very comprehensive

The 401k and the benefits

Health insurance benefits and incentive bonuses

Great insurance and other options such as pet and mental health

At risk is attainable and realistic and if you are a hard worker you can make a lot of money.

My commission is well above industry standard

Health care is a superb package

They provide competative ctc compared to other companies

my salary is very generous

Health insurance and pay bonuses

Super super super super super

Time off and flexibslity to work from home

you can get assistance to understand

Review from Operations Dept

Raise is connected to performance and not title

The health benefits and tuition assistance is great.

Commission and ways to make more loney

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If I was recognized for going over and above the norm, I would feel more appreciated. I don't feel that way at all.

Review from Engineering Dept

look at market comparisons and my job function is below the norm

Compensation for my long list of the budget/operating cost savings accomplishments.

Review from Operations Dept

At the time yes but they did not keep it fair.

Give us our individual pay back so we get rewareded for our hard work and love working for the company again. The morale has taken a dive since team base commission and our hours extended.

Actual pay based on individual performance.

Market adjustment rates to take into account inflation. This should be done every 6 months.

The pay does not equate to the workload

Some of the benefits were okay, but other benefits like the employee phone program take so long to apply to your verizon account that it isn't worth the wait. It takes on average three bill cycles of full price services before it is reflected and then they cant explain what some of the charges are.

The company needs to consider cost of living raise I'm making less money now than I was when I first started with the company and I do not feel that management listens to anything that we have to say as an employee

I haven't been given a raise in 2 year yet I've been rated "leading" which is the highest you can be. I'm a top performer and feel I should be paid what I'm worth.

Some people take advantage of you

Have received an offer from a direct competitor thats 60k more than what im making. They didn't match inflation and I've had 4 title changes since I've been in my current position.

I know I should be paid more an hour because I do a lot for my role, but a different and higher position are always an option.

compared to other orgs Verizon is paying me way much less

Review from Operations Dept

As a leader i make $25 an hour. There are reps that make maybe $2 leas than me as a base. Im required to work OT but not get paid for it. I have to work some type of part time just to make sure my family can enjoy life.

Wireless employees are paid significantly less than wireline employees at Verizon.

There isn't enough recognition and there is not emphasis placed on career growth. There is no clear path for growth either. It is very subjective.

the work and responsibilities keep piling up and the entire team gets no recognition for the hard work we manage and no compensation other than the standard yearly raise. Any promotions are done at "raise time" so they actually don't have to give you a promotion raise.

Yes. Better compensation and recognition
