Helpful, intelligent people. Remote-first environment is well-tuned and productive (i.e. only have to go to meetings where I would actually participate etc.). Lots of freedom over how to implement code and which projects to prioritize.

What makes you most happy at work?
Great work-life balance. Interesting work and a collaborative / supportive environment. Very rarely feel stressed or "under the gun" because planning is done far in advance and realistic deadlines are set.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Management is very knowledgable and understanding. Individual teams have lots of autonomy over implementation specifics / how to approach certain problems and leadership always seems helpful rather than a blocker to work.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I have no doubt that every engineer is extremely qualified to tackle any problem that arises. There is a culture which encourages transfer of knowledge and technical skills.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Engineers have a lot of input and autonomy over how their work is implemented. Work seems meaningful and because engineers are responsible for maintaining the work they create, there is incentive to create robust, defensive software.
