What is the best part about your compensation package?

Our health insurance. While other companies may offer larger HSA/FSA contributions, their deductibles have generally been higher.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

We've embraced remote working reasonably well and I think most people are polite and assume good intent.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My close team is great - lots of very knowledgeable and creative engineers. They often help me see things from new perspectives and are very talented at adding new features.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Working to promote diversity within the company, starting with leadership. Our leadership teams overwhelmingly consist of white males. Secondarily, improving growth paths for all employees; it can be difficult to get opportunities to work on new skills and technologies.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

It feels like there's a lot of misplaced confidence and an allergy to more robust, reliable processes. We're building a new platform, but seem to be falling into the same trap of rushing for features without making sure the ones we have are dependable.
