Customer driven, listens to employees.

Companies fairly flat - not a ton of middle level management. Upper management spends time with customers and anaylsising how we can always work to drive improvements.

Very transparent about changes, where the company is heading, etc. They really listen to the team and real actions are taken when there are issues to ensure ALL employees love working there.

Their expectations are clear, comprehensive and easy to understand and therefore exceed expectations

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Believing in something other than themselves. Judging a book by its cover is at an all time high. & I forgive but I pray the companies karma is strong in these times.

Understanding the job. Communicating with employees.

Integrity. While the company was making record profits during the pandemic in 2020, it chose to layoff some field service people and cut the commissions to field sales.

People skills....like they would treat a customer

Being honest to the employees and not cheating them out of their hard earned pay. Pay fairly for the work that is expected to be done and don't take away any more from your employees.

I was with grainger for many years. I've seen them try to implement many new business models and they will push through even if its to the detriment of both the company and employees. When the did the massive layoff they acknowledge they made a grave mistake but to late to stop.
