How's the feedback process at Walgreens?
You have an engagement survey. But nothing happens after. Everyone knows upper management is disconnected but they really don’t care.
How do you feel about going to work at Walgreens everyday?
It’s challenging. I love my work. But I hate the environment at Walgreens. No appreciation what so ever.

In the pits. Staff are overworked underpaid and after 2 years of Covid everyone expected to be at least acknowledged but was still treated badly so everyone is looking for other opportunities

Walgreens does not like staff to switch districts. You have to threaten to leave to be transferred. And you may have to actually leave before anyone listens. There is a disconnect between staff and management

The onboarding is done online they give you a very limited time to finish units that take forever. And then they use them against you in the future

Unless you want to be a manager to a failing store and miraculously turn it around with no staff and stay at work all day and night while you’re only paid

You have to suck up to upper management. And still you may get nothing.

That the hiring district manager was lying in everything he offered

They are quick to remove anyone not meeting often unrealistic goals. So opportunity is always available. They do not look at improvement only a numerical goal. You meet it or you suffer the consequences. There is often 3-4 people in line to replace you..
