Wayfair Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

They seem down to earth and real.

On setting it's leaders up with the proper tools to succeed at their level, trusting leadership to get the job done.

They are extremely transparent and empathetic while also being hard workers who are willing to "roll up their sleeves" and work alongside the team. They "show up" literally and metaphorically for their teams to ensure the business is on track.

Review from HR Dept

They are humble, transparent, and operate with a mindset that is open to new ideas and learning opportunities. At the same time, they present clear rationale for their decision making that's based in doing what's best for our people and customers. That care drives loyalty and growth.

Review from HR Dept

The leadership team is supportive and dedicated to their employees.

Review from HR Dept

The leadership team is invested in the care and well-being of the entire team.

Transparency, frequent updates, communication about what is happening across the business, and encouraging their teams to try new things.

Review from HR Dept

I really like how transparent the leaders are.

Our leadership team recognizes and respects our individual humanity. They set high goals and clear expectations, but also give people space to try, fail, learn, grow and ultimately succeed.

They do listen and make associates feel appreciated but its not them its the company

We have a strong, diverse group of leaders. They are open and most are willing to collaborate and work together to get things done.

Review from Sales Dept

We have a fantastic work culture, everyone gets along and we work together as a team to make it easier for everyone.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Transparent and fast paced. Emphasis on keeping the culture.

Review from Design Dept

The leadership team encourages and fosters growth from within. They also have an open door policy and ensure that they are accessible.

Review from HR Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Learning the role and how to support team

Review from Sales Dept

They think they learned everything they need to know at their ivy league schools. No value for real world experience. And, just because you were head of HR, doesn't mean you can slot into any other C-suite role.

Communication, respect, empathy and work-life balance oriented

Whole team meeting everyone from different shifts to get a base line of rule and regulations

Basic ethics and management fundamentals

Ineffective at stopping the attrition

Inclusion. Hire a real diversity of people not just men.

Stop gaslighting employees at every turn. Value virtual employees. Pay better hourly pay in lieu of some of the pointless benefits. Get insurance that actually has a decent network like it used to. Actually follow the people’s principles you mention dail

communication, decency, and organizing the company to remove the toxic siloed culture

Review from Product Dept

Organization goal setting. Fixing the talent management department to address harassment and retaliation that is rampant in Wayfair

Review from Operations Dept

I believe the leadership team is world-class and taking Wayfair to be the future category killer of home goods retail.

Review from Marketing Dept

Stop violating california labor laws such as briebing injured associates with free furniture via safety raffles, violating california meal premium laws by asking hourly associates production/ work related questions while on lunch and breaks and running a mafia like culture using intimidation tactics

Review from Operations Dept

Transparency, some managers lead with fear/micro managing. They are just managing up. Little regard for employers.

Overall organization and money management

Review from Marketing Dept

Leadership is not strong. Goals are not clear. Mentorship is missing.

Review from Product Dept

Transparency, open discussion, and proactive leadership.

Review from Engineering Dept

Worst Management team ever, Unfair attendance policy
