What's the internship program like at Prolific Interactive?
Kind of non-existent for design. There's a lack of infrastructure to properly mentor interns so it's a lot of being thrown into the fire. If you are up for that, it's a great place to shine.
How helpful was your Design team when you were first hired at Prolific Interactive?
Helpful enough - it wasn't easier or harder than any other company I've been to.
How's the leadership on the Design team at Prolific Interactive?
In transition right now. Change is hard, bu there's potential for a lot of growth.
What kind of people succeed at Prolific Interactive?
People who care personally, challenge directly. And also have a bit of a rind on them.
What unique perks and benefits does Prolific Interactive provide?
Dogs at work! Random assortment of snacks! A fun thing every week where we “credit” people $1 or so for some awesome thing they did that week. For the past month we have been adding up the credits and Prolific is sending that amount to Harvey and Irma relief.
How secure do you feel at your job at Prolific Interactive?
Pretty secure but with agencies I’ve tended to err on the side of cautiously optimistic.
What's the office layout like at Prolific Interactive?
Open, stylish, with lots of books to be heads down.
How much diversity is there among employees at Prolific Interactive?
A ton - it’s one of the reasons I love it here
How's the morale at Prolific Interactive?
The design team is in a transition with some senior people leaving but that’s agency life. There lots of opportunity to take the team even farther with new blood
How challenged are you at Prolific Interactive?
Very - but in a great way
How does WeWork make decisions around promotions?
If you are a) related to someone high up b) personal friends with someone high up
What do people at WeWork think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
The CEO preaches community and making a life not a living. These are just slogans to get employees to drink the koolaid. There is no sense of honesty or being genuine when Adam talks. Miguel is the true heart of the company.
What are some of the best things about your team at Prolific Interactive?
Smart, driven people
What do you like best about the leadership team at Prolific Interactive?
Very passionate about what they do
