Leadership is always supporting you

The support and collaboration within the leadership team, as well as the banter!

Open communication. Highly skilled. Friendly

Mature leaders with a clear vision to bring our company to profitability.

There are a lot of people will big-picture ideas which has its place, but the lack of knowledge regarding day-to-day hands-on work is the reason there are so many process and technical problems when it's time to roll out those big ideas.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

The business is a global venture. Stop thinking like Americans.

Leadership team needs better communication across all departments

everything. they have zero leadership skills. They are judgmental, rude, and will scream at you when in a bad mood

evertyhing they are toxic and have no business leading

being honest about the motives of the company

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

It's all pretty basic. Health care is good.

Health benefits are free for individuals

Comprehensive and fairly low cost to employees

3 weeks of Holidays, great medical servide provider and competitive wage.

the options starting to value some pretty nice amount of money

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

The company needs to do more benchmarking with other companies to understand the people and the market. Stop treating people as fungible assets.

The job description does not match what type of work and what your day to day looks like at this workplace.

Consistent pay for people at the same level; remove raise caps for people moving roles/teams within the company -- this puts those who have stayed with the company at a disadvantage compared to external hires

I was the top salesperson in the company in events and treated horribly. I was lied to when hired about the commission structure. I was hired for one role then made to do things that were not my job. I dont know how this company stays in business

I work too hard for too little

What are some of the best things about your team?

Team Reviews

Everyone recruited seems very qualified for the position

They are genuine and with good hearts. However, the structure in place is broken.

Nice smart people that are supportive.

Transparent insights into the direction of the company

We all have different backgrounds and perspectives but we work so well together because of it. The job can be stressful at times but knowing I can rely on the person sitting next to me makes everything worth it.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

There needs to be better communication and better hiring of crtical thinking efficient problem solvers

they are rude and form cliques. They are condescending and childish. Make new hires feel unwelcome

they are all in it for themselves and catty

Coworkers aren’t the issue. Everyone is smart and hardworking. Department managers competing with other department heads as the company looks at which areas to cut is the problem. It’s causing total chaos. Works leadership ever experien

Review from Operations Dept

Very cliqueish, not really interested in helping new employees.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Environment Reviews

Everyone has a good attitude and likes coming to work

Shared vision and values that we're aligned on

The sense of Community between employees and members.

Everyone seems to act busy and entire team working on 1 single project.

For the most part, peers are very supportive of one another.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

Be more sensitive to the employee’s needs and not only on the bottom lin

More honesty, accountability, better engaging atmosphere and inclusive. Not just about profit.

They need to fire the operations and leadership team in the events department and start from scratch. These people don't know what they are doing and they are miserable to work with. THey ruined my mental health and screwed me on my payout when I left

Leadership needs to either make decisions and stick to them or enable teams to have autonomy over their workstreams. More often than not, work is passed over the fence for teams to execute without much context and then without notice, the work will be put on pause because of lack of communication.

Everything needs to change. The culture is the worst.

What did you like most about the interview process?

Interviews Reviews

It was efficient. Little did I know it would be the last efficient thing I experienced at WeWork

Review from Operations Dept

Transparent process with great balance of Q&A

How they invite you to be authentic, to be yourself, as one of the values of the company.

Quick turn around on offer

Honesty and willingness to share

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Have greater interaction with the candidate and not just try to sell a false narrative. The candidate will figure it out in the end.

they don't communicate. Also the recruiters and hiring managers lie to you

less interviews. it hinders the process

Reserve my comment and nothing to comment further as of now

The community aspect of our teams.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

There is no empathy for customers or the members.

terrible reputation which is exactly what this company is

leadership needs to work on a lot

Review from Operations Dept

WeWork's business model will never be profitable so there is no incentive for any employees to do more than the bare minimum.

Dealing with inexperienced middle managers are stressful.

What do you like best about your company?

Outlook Reviews

There's mouthwash in the bathrooms.

The team and desire to do better but feel good about who we are and that not being perfect is better than pretending everything is easy.

A lot of exciting things to do

Freedom, work life balance, self determination

Review from Design Dept

Its unconventional and I have a lot of free reign and autonomy

What would you most like to see improved at your company?

Outlook Reviews

moreale, management, the people they promote

Everything needs to be improved.

Some people take things that are challenging too seriously and lack experience working at other, less fun and corporative/supportive, companies (most people haven't had many jobs before this company) leading them to complain. Complaining people are almost always annoying (unless they are right).

Compensation and more seniors developers

Leadership experienced in domains in which they are attempting to lead
