WeWork Claimed Company
When we started WeWork in 2010, we wanted to build more than beautiful, shared office spaces. We wanted to build a community. A place you join as an individual, 'me', but where you become part of a greater 'we'. A place where we’re redefining success measured by personal fulfillment, not just the bottom line. WeWork Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

It's all pretty basic. Health care is good.

Health benefits are free for individuals

Comprehensive and fairly low cost to employees

3 weeks of Holidays, great medical servide provider and competitive wage.

the options starting to value some pretty nice amount of money

The week off for Summer Break and Christmas Break combined with unlimited paid vacation is fantastic. I love to travel and my family lives out of state, so this allows me to see the people I care about and do the things I love.

Review from Product Dept

Our healthcare coverage is incredible (they cover a large percentage) and we have a 401k matching program.

Review from Marketing Dept

Prolific recently increased the amount it contributes to our health & dental, which is amazing. We also have unlimited PTO which is encouraged to take.

Review from Product Dept

Flexible vacation policy, a comprehensive benefits package

Total package is best I've seen if you include benefits and perks.

Competitive pay, great office space, lots of soft perks, ability to get a raise when performance is done well

Review from Product Dept

I'm paid well to do satisfying work with great people. That's the ice cream. Who cares about the sprinkles.

Review from Design Dept

Potential for pre-IPO liquidity events such as tender offers

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The company needs to do more benchmarking with other companies to understand the people and the market. Stop treating people as fungible assets.

The job description does not match what type of work and what your day to day looks like at this workplace.

Consistent pay for people at the same level; remove raise caps for people moving roles/teams within the company -- this puts those who have stayed with the company at a disadvantage compared to external hires

I was the top salesperson in the company in events and treated horribly. I was lied to when hired about the commission structure. I was hired for one role then made to do things that were not my job. I dont know how this company stays in business

I work too hard for too little

It is a known fact that engineers are severely under paid compared to market rate.

Paid for working hours, org development, and business impact

Yes. There is no performance bonus

I'm aware that as a female I get paid less than my male counterparts at WeWork. I have ten years of professional experience and I am on the bottom tier of salaries in my department, currently in an uphill battle to make it to the next tier.

Based in years of experience and daily work quality I am underpaid compared to market value. It is always hard to understand how a company views roles and titles when interviewing. Based on others at the same level I am senior. A raise and promotion would balance this out.

Review from Marketing Dept

If I got paid as much as the guys in New York office

For a startup I would like more equity.
