WeWork Claimed Company
When we started WeWork in 2010, we wanted to build more than beautiful, shared office spaces. We wanted to build a community. A place you join as an individual, 'me', but where you become part of a greater 'we'. A place where we’re redefining success measured by personal fulfillment, not just the bottom line. Community is our catalyst. read more

WeWork Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Everyone has a good attitude and likes coming to work

Shared vision and values that we're aligned on

The sense of Community between employees and members.

Everyone seems to act busy and entire team working on 1 single project.

For the most part, peers are very supportive of one another.

Lots of freedom and autonomy to try new things. The culture is very supportive of big epic ideas and generally everyone is kind and respectful.

Review from Marketing Dept

We're in this together, and have a hungry nature to the way we strive toward success.

Review from Marketing Dept

The people and the dogs!

Review from Product Dept

Light hearted and positive atmosphere, and a healthy emphasis on work life balance.

Everyone is honest about challenges being normal and needing to be communicative, supportive and team focused to work through everything. Very supportive environment.

People do truly care about each other and the work they are doing.

Review from Product Dept

"Thank you for the challenge" is a common phrase amongst Prolific teammates. I love that mindset!

Review from Design Dept

That it's open. We are open to each other's ideas, and open to learning something new. I never feel like I can't share a concern or feedback to our leadership team or to anybody really. It is a great environment that believes People First.

Review from Operations Dept

Team members are helpful and collaborative

Review from Operations Dept

We're putting a lot of emphasis on hiring minorities.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Be more sensitive to the employee’s needs and not only on the bottom lin

More honesty, accountability, better engaging atmosphere and inclusive. Not just about profit.

They need to fire the operations and leadership team in the events department and start from scratch. These people don't know what they are doing and they are miserable to work with. THey ruined my mental health and screwed me on my payout when I left

Leadership needs to either make decisions and stick to them or enable teams to have autonomy over their workstreams. More often than not, work is passed over the fence for teams to execute without much context and then without notice, the work will be put on pause because of lack of communication.

Everything needs to change. The culture is the worst.

Fire all senior management now

Review from Marketing Dept

Everything. Nothing at WeWork is functional. 7 reorg later, I still have no idea who actually had decision making power.
