Zulily – I love my direct leadership. I am learning a lot about how to operate at scale, and have clear goals to get to the next level, but dont know if that will be at Zu. Working with HR is a consistent headwind, and rarely results in me being more effective at my job. We get in our own way too often. | Comparably

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Transparency and willingness to reassess preciously held beliefs.

What makes you most happy at work?

Empowering my team to do their jobs well

What are some of the best things about your team?

The way we work together, in a collaborative nature. How we approach problem solving. A willingness to learn and teach.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Why is a strange question. At any time I could make 25% more money at a number of other companies, with better benefits, and similar work-life balance. I choose to stay because of my direct leadership and how they're helping me grow.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

We need to figure out who we are, and lean into that. We need more transparency and honesty from HR. We need to drive ownership as a way of interacting throughout our company - and we do that by truly empowering our people.
