I liked Zulily so much, I boomeranged back after I left. I will say though that it's not the place for everyone. If you thrive in ambiguity, like to innovate and push the boundaries, and enjoy thinking on your feet - then Zulily will likely be a place you want to check out.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I have grown in unimaginable ways at Zulily and made some of my best friends here. There's a reason I came back after leaving and I'm really grateful to be apart of the company
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think the most positive thing is how people support each other
What are some of the best things about your team?
My coworkers are smart, quick, funny, and they truly care about the people around them.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The fact that our bonuses are guaranteed to pay out at 50%, regardless of company performance, is really great.
What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with my team and making a large scale impact on the business is what makes me the most happy at work
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is definitely the best part of working at Zulily. They are supportive, kind, and always willing to jump in and help.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that our executive team is providing a very clear vision, goals, and updates on how we're reaching those goals. This has been missing in the past and is a welcomed change that our new CEO has brought
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
In terms of monetary compensation, I think Zulily does exactly what they say they're going to do. They make mid-market offers for the most part. Where I would love to see improvement is in our benefits, particularly PTO. I don't believe our policy is as competitive as it should be.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team, now more than ever, seems really committed to the success of the company and ensuring all our team members understand how the business is performing and what projects are in place to help us grow as a company. I appreciate the transparency and candor of our current executives
