It hurts when I rarely get recognized for doing well, rather then doing something wrong. Eventually it works on you when you are constantly "messing" things up. I get plenty of surrvays and customers personally complimenting me to my boss only to get a shoulder shrug. Im always striving to be better
I liked when everyone was able to be happy everyday, including me. It's supposed to be my home away from home. I try to make everyone laugh and smile but everyone just sits on the phone and gossips. Specifically why I love furniture, since I'm always with customers I can maintain a steady happiness
The most positive would most definitely be when we get a new hire. They always start out so sweet and are refreshing and new. I love it. I like training in general because I love new people and if you are taught to work correctly you will always then do so. Training is so important in any workplace
Working as a team to make work fun and easy for everyone would be so amazing. Although I think everyone is just genuinely unhappy anymore. I think the pay has a big thing to do with it. So much for so little. Ecpecially when alot if us are young mothers and fathers trying to make a life for ourself
I honestly can say I liked my boss. He is such a good man, and he has done alot for my store for what he can at least. Managers are iffy alot though. He made me so comfortable and let me know on the spot I was hired seasonal, then he decided to keep me for good. I can say my boss is a mentor
