My overall experience at FSA comes with trepidation. I regret leaving a permanent position to become a contract worker only to be in a position where the longevity of my employment is questionable each year. I believed it would be a good change but I feel misled.

The friendly environment makes me most happy.

I like what I do and the team I work with.

I believe when it comes to recruiting the leadership team is clear on their expectations.

The company where I was placed is very diverse. There is no minority or majority group.

With regard to the team I work with where I was placed we all work cohesively. I don't really feel like I have a team with FSA.

I work in a very diverse culture, so I get to learn from various ethnicities. Again, this is not FSA. It's the culture and environment where I am assigned.

My team is just one individual from FSA and we work closely together. We collaborate on a lot of case matters and we work well together. We share our knowledge equally on each case.

The team that I work with is very cohesive, but this is team at the office I work, not FSA. I only interact with one maybe two FSA employees. That is not a team.

I don't feel like the leadership team is as engaged with their subordinates as they professed to be. Communication is never clear especially when it comes to operational matters (i.e. timekeeping, timesheets, time, payroll, etc.)

I believe salary should be comparable to the education and experience the employee brings to the table. The company does not have rely on the resume and interview. Reference checks from previous employers should help validate.

Leadership does not have a clue what I do in my current job capacity. When it comes to performance review, employees are rated beneath what they actually do in their role. And now that the evals don't allow the employee to explain their skills compensation is not comparable.

I'm not aware of the most positive thing about the culture and environment at my company because I am a contract employee. the company I am assigned to celebrates a lot from office picnics to holiday celebrations. This is good for morale but not a lot of people participate.

With the skill set I bring to the office I could be compensated better. The employer I resigned from to become a contract worker initially compensated less than my current salary with FSA. But now, the compensation of my previous employer far exceeds what I currently make with FSA.

Since I only interact with my manager directly, I can only speak to that experience and not the leadership team in its entirety. I like the personable nature of my manager. He encourages the team professionally but he also understand that the team has a life outside of the office.

I get to use my headphones and listen to podcasts while I work. I don't interact much with other workers and typically stay at my workstation most of the day unless I have to use the restroom or go to a meeting. There are no spaces available that accommodate taking lunch/break away from my desk.
