Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. Came in to manage 1 store in June this year and was completely shocked to lose my job and have to apply for another position. Though I was very scared, I was excited when I got the mgm position. However there is minimal in store support which makes creating a culture of winning extremely difficult.

Staffing is a big issue and being responsible for 3 stores with minimal in store support is not easy. Some stores have individuals who are not willing to step up due to company changes or who have been with the company so long they are capable of maneuvering the system to retain their jobs
