I found a decent job and a decent job found me. I don't know how this could be a career. I feel bad that there are people who have been in my position for over a decade. Why? I really hope they secretly make more money because I wouldn't want to be in my 60s making what I make.

My current compensation does not reflect what my abilities are worth nor the work ethic that I bring to this job every workday. I know that I'm invaluable to the client and if I left tomorrow there would be no "comparable" replacement and the client would be resentful of FSA for that.

The team I work with is on the same page of working smarter and not harder. We don't sweat the small stuff. There's open dialogue when something isn't going as planned and I feel like I can trust them as far as they can trust me to have the work's best interest in mind.
