They are passionate, fair-minded, highly skilled professionals.

Delegate management, budget. Longer-term focus vs quarterly results. Quality experiences will bring new bookings than aggressive cross-sale.

We are encumbered with process, excessive bureaucracy and largely ineffective meetings, more focused on ritual that quality, innovation and speed to market.

Our annual increases were outpaced by inflation even before the pandemic. Workload increases but salaries remain static. Bonuses are embarrassing.

Our team and other teams I've collaborated with are honorable, well-adjusted and quality-focused professionals. Smart, ethical, often joyous people that are our greatest asset.

Fewer meetings, more focus on delighting and surprising our customers in support of their ministries. We've spend years focused on cross-sale and it hasn't yielded the expected windfall.

Less red tape. Empower managers. Fewer meetings. Improved focus on quality and customer need vs bookings and cross-sale. Changing our name and diluting our brands will not change our reputation in the marketplace and isn't a winning long-term strategy.
Revisión
Cross-sale isn't innovation and investors aren't customers. We should work to delight and surprise our customers with true innovation; their feedback and needs should inform our products and services. Rebranding is a short-term reputation reset at the expense of established customer loyalty.

Associate empathy. We tend to be tone deaf in terms of austerity. Keen-eyed staff may notice that while their workloads and stress increased, their 6-year trend in compensation growth is stale while the company spent millions on new acquisitions; many of which are ultimately dismantled or shuttered

5 to 6 years of sub-par annual raises and no bonuses to speak of ran head first into an inflationary spike that was met with yet-another poor annual increase. I can find a 50% increase in salary on the current job market, even with the bear-market pre-recession indicators.
