Appian: In the first 4 months I've been with Appian I've had the most enjoyable experience of my career ever. Whilst my salary isn't the best, the enjoyment of the work and interacting with my colleagues as well as some of the perks that come with going into the office (breakfasts etc.) are awesome.

Often, it feels like the coaches are trying to coach a team for a game they've never played themselves.

Target: The company has lost sight of the values that drew me to work there. They've given up on many efforts to create an equitable workplace. The work environment is filled with a fear of getting in trouble with superiors. Which has led to most problems getting swept under the rug.
Home Goods: Megan, in the framing department, is FANTASTIC. Professionsl, knowledgeable, personable! She helped me find just the right frame and at the right price. With her guidance I found just what I was looking for, and even ordered 4 more. Thank you, Megan!

Ola: Not Worth It. always in the verge of lay offs even when there is no trend of it. Failure as business mode. Good for learning for a year as the tech stack as good and get better understanding of how things work
TIAA: Company that is has gone through a major transformation after years of marketshare loss. It now operates with a competitive and winning mindset to make it successful for the long term. Change can be hard, especially when it effects years of status quo, but it is based doing right by customers.
Crusoe: Moving fast can cost us, we need balance and more oversight of others decisions that impact the effectiveness of other teams. The rate we are growing this is expected but a clear plan will help.

Guidehouse: Strange policies and culture at Guidehouse. Guidehouse mentions in job descriptions that they have family and personal leave but they do not. It's DTO which is used up if anyone is on bench. They are telling us not to speak with our past co-workers, which is illegal. It's a free country.

Netsmart: The Software Engineers that I know appear to be underpaid. One senior engineer made Senior makes $83k. Another senior engineer heads our security efforts and makes about $90k upon promotion. I make $105k after 5 years of being a senior engineer with 10 years of experience. The work is pretty intense
Grab: The work culture is degraded recently, leaders have no clue no direction and COO is useless making all policies against employees to forces them to resign

Harris Corporation: L3Harris had many DEI initiatives up until recently. They have flipped and gone full support for maga policies. HR VP does not focus on employee needs at all and the company itself advertises unlimited PTO though employees are disincentivized from actually taking time off.

Ashley Furniture: I made the mistake of getting hired here as their driver. Im debating on leaving. Dont come here. Your pretty much screwed.
GFL Environmental: This is by far the worst company i have ever dealt with!
RingCentral: Overall a positive experience. The work is meaningful, colleagues are supportive, and there are good opportunities to learn and contribute.

I was impressed with how hard the company pushes to elevate its employees from within and retain that. I am as happy at this company as any I have ever been at and that stays consistent.
Kaiser Permanente: Kaiser does not have the resources to accommodate its current members, advertising for new members is unconscionable.

Milestone Systems: Limited career growth and internal advancement. Certain managers appear prioritized over employees, their role fit is questionable. Misaligned leadership placements impact team morale and development, with employees often absorbing consequences. Accountability and transparency are inconsistent.
Nationwide Children's Hospital: Unfortunately, they really don't care about their employees. It's a big business and they run it as such.
