there's a duality of feelings here. great company, way too conservative. stable business in need of transformation, limited energy toward making this happen. coordinated initiatives in digitalization are leading edge, but conservative culture and beaurocracy are limiting the value.

Evonik is a great, global company. The health care business part of an industry with a bright future. The work environment is complex and challenging, but very collaborative. Our work is interesting - we are modernizing the way manufacturing is done.

medical benefits are inexpensive for me, comprehensive, and in general do not give surprises

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
salary increases are capped, even with promotions, are capped at 5%, which leaves us with almost no upside to grow within the company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
there are a select few people with a transformative mindset, and i've been able to find some of them. but it's not enough
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
openness, transparency, and speed. this company is much too conservative for the world today. they are saying the right things, but doing another. let's get real about the values.
