I know very little about them. No one really understand WHY we have the business line (via germany) and the Region.... I do after much effort, but this is largely a mystery to many employees....
The people i get to see every day and the teamwork we are trying to inspire in each other. the work we do is exciting, but the expectations and departures from the company make it feel like things are crumbling.
I have been performing above my current grade for about 8 months. management has acknowledged this in writing via a promotion request for about 4 months. During those 4 months she has left the company and I have assumed MANY of her duties without commensurate compensation.
Recognizing employees that are working through adverse situations and supporting them with resources OR allowing the business to be impacted as a result of this. We generally ask employees to cover more than their share of work to keep the business moving at all cost.we need to prioritize people
The team is made up of generally competent people that want to do the right thing. When the right expectations are in place, we work very well together. a lack of leadership in my group is currently allowing this to devolve somewhat, and i am trying to hold it together.
the people are trying really hard to keep the plant running. The feeling i have is that of a group in a terrible situation just trying to make ends meet. The reality is better than that, but that is the current perception. It makes it hard to retain talent and i think is linked to departures
