Family Dollar would not recommend working there
My team is hard working, loyal and honest.
My favorite part is the customers that I meet.
Communication, helping associates. They need to acknowledge all employees.
The customers and my coworkers make the work load tolerable.
Vacation days are allowed to accrue, instead of losing them if you do not use them.
My coworkers and my customers. Once my regular crew left, things were never quite the same.
Listening, understanding. Learning how to have a discussion and not talking down to associates in lower positions, treat all employees equal.
My manager and I were very close, so he needed approval from his manager to hire me. There was never a formal interview.
My team was hard working, dependable, honest, and had great senses of humor. Honestly, I am still very close with some of my coworkers.
The company from District managers and up could use a serious lesson in learning how to talk to lower level associates. Everyone deserves respect in my opinion.
