Coming to Fivetran, I was worried about how I would assimilate into such a large team and within a few days of being here, those fears were put aside. This company has one of the most special and unique cultures I've ever seen.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
The culture has shifted in the last 6-8 months and is now in a place where I hesitate to recommend others to join based on the uncertainty we've all experienced in RIFs, rumors of more coming, comp plans that are hard to understand, and a lack of job security.

People genuinely care about each other.

Working with my peers and the people on my team

They are clear on the challenges we face in this uncertain economic environment.

The health insurance offered is better than most comparable companies in my experience.

Competitive pay and decent health benefits. I'd like to see a higher HSA contribution to be competitive with other tech companies.

Similar to the leadership team, very passionate, incredibly smart and very focused on helping those around them be the best they can be.
What makes you most happy at work?
Solving problems! There are plenty of issues to fix and it feels really good when we remove obstacles that get in our teams way on a daily/ weekly basis.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Passion, compassion, and transparency! The leadership team at Fivetran has one of the highest EQ's I've ever seen and that will set us apart so we need to find ways to highlight it in the hiring process!
