I've worked for GE for a long time and the best aspects of GE are the people and how your co-workers are more like family than people that you work with.

GE has constantly stated we pay people for the job and not the individual. I have been asked to do a job that is above and beyond what I was hired to do and at a pay scale and band that is not commensurate.

GE hires some of the most talented and capable people I've ever seen in the industry. The people at GE love to solve problems and love challenges. For the most part, everyone wants to jump in and help and they do it for the job and not the recognition.
