The relationship between the employees that show up and work hard everyday in the face of adversity
My coworkers work hard and uphold Starbucks values everyday, even if it means getting assaulted by customers, staying 2 hours past close, or working short staffed.
It was short and sweet because they desperately needed staff. No one was willing to stay and work under the conditions Starbucks put them under due to covid.
Invest in the store that exist. Invest in the employees that are already there. Stop trying to expand and increase profit margins instead of paying us what we are worth.
The handling of the unionization effort is destroying the companies reputation. They need to reevaluate how they are handling it or they will no longer be the progressive company they claim to be.
We are expected to work through conditions that affect us mentally and physically yet we do not make a living wage. Our hours are subject to get cut down if our store isn't hitting huge profit margins. We are expected to have outstanding customer service for less than a living wage.
