Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. The company as a whole is great. The pay overall could improve. As I said, there are other companies that pay much more for identical job titles. I would also encourage leadership to zero in on employees who aren't living up to expectations.

The All Hands Meetings are my favorite thing. I love how our company and leadership take time to celebrate those who really exemplify our Core Values.

The collaborative culture they create. They also give us space to breathe through frequent 1:1s and meetings where we can share ideas in a judge free zone.

Celebrating wins and recognition for a job well done. This is something that happens regularly. The all hands meeting is something that I am always excited to take part in.

There is a kinship there. It's more than just co-workers. It feels like family. Some just don't pull their weight and it causes unnecessary pressure to complete tasks. Even leads to some having to take projects over on top of their own tasks.

There are other companies who pay $20k more per year to do what I do remotely, so more money, no gas. The workload is also a job for more than 1 person. I find that is a common theme across all workers who have a great work ethic. They tend to be taken advantage of.
