Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. Early on, very proud, excited, and excited for the uncertainty because the challenge led to an exciting reward or progress.I don't feel proud to tell anyone where I work now, overcoming the challenges doesnt translate to worthwhile rewards.Everything feels like we should be ready to be beaten down.

This company has lost sight of being people first entirely. Sales pressure is one thing but now nationwide the companies culture has shifted so much that peers I talk to don't feel seen or are losing their passion for this company specifically.

The truly care about the success of one another. And ask how they can help or improve as an individual. They collaborate to find optimism in things they don't agree with as a part of solidarity. Because they care about how they affect their peers enjoyment of their work.

I can't say I can find a highlight In this category anymore. I used to be very pro victra as the balance between healthy sales pressure and compensation felt very well balance and drove people to want to perform even better and succeed for the sake of our reputation.

Actions speak louder than words. Show your staff you really do care and give them the insight that helps them understand the actions take and why and how it isn't directly intended to cut pay from those learning and growing to push them out before they have had the chance to flourish.

Find a better balance that allows members of the company to feel seen with their work.The shift in compensation structure very clearly is laid out to put more pressure on people to perform better while also paying out less for those that have a bad performance month.The level of care is non existent
