Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. Benefits are not as confusing as they can be at other companies. We have a portal that lays everything out so you can navigate, select and apply for benefits that you need without having to ask. Our benefits are extremely generous and useful.

I enjoy having measurable goals to work towards. I can see my progress and find things that work for me. I have freedom to schedule my work flow as I see fit which allows me to excel, and that has resulted in professional success for me.

I feel very supported as an employee here at Victra. They welcomed me in with open arms and from the very first day of class I knew that I had made a good decision. I am not afraid to ask for guidance or assistance when I need it and I do not feel micromanaged. Our wins are celebrated here.
