Overall i do feel challenged with some aspects of my work, but there are many improvements the company needs to make Ambry and enjoyable place to work. We need more team bonding, automation of the work, and communication from management.

Need to promote teamwork and bonding. My coworkers do not like to take breaks together or do any fun activities to promote team bonding. Difficult environment to make friends in.

Some coworkers are not welcoming especially to new hires. They can be rude and unpleasant. I've tried small talk and getting to know them better but doesn't seem to work. Talking to management also does not help. Overall people here are nice but not super friendly.

We are underpaid compared to the industry. My managers don't seem to have realistic expectations especially for new hires who are still trying to learn. Environment is toxic and management does nothing to prevent it. We don't have resources to make improvements or changes in our workflows.

We need to put more resources into improving the lab and each workflow. Many times instruments are out of order and the manual process makes it very difficult. We need to improve tracker3, case manager, and the other sites we use. They are incredibly slow and difficult to navigate.

Management can improve their communication with rest of the team. Many times it feels like no one has any idea what is happening. It also seems the managers do not communicate with each other. Many times in our conversation it feels as if they are learning things from myself or the tema.
