Ascension: Several changes in the last few years, message is we need to retain new employees and make them happy and less importance given to retaining older employees. There was a massive reduction in workforce 2 years ago only for them to hire new people with in 6 months.
Meijer: I love the people I work with on a daily basis at my store as for a whole the Meijer company does not care about their employees and we are each replaceable. The pay is not worth the work load at all.
Luxottica: No compromise with the employees at stores or the customers. Supervisors care about numbers but didn't know how the contact lenses area works, I feel they will dismiss the area in a short time, cause nobody is in charge. I think (At least in Chile) this company is good only if you are an executive

Family Dollar Stores: Wages are very low: $8.75/hr.for a cashier, versus a local MacDonalds, with starting pay at $12/hr. No fast food places in my area pay less than $10/hr. Stores are understaffed, dirty and overcrowded with merchandise. Videol loss prevention useless unless someone watches monitors constantly.
IBM: Love my job, and co workers. Pay is terrible, recognition is terrible. Job insecurity rampant.

IBM: As an intern, I don't get benefits, and the merchandise is all low quality and not very useful in daily life.
IBM: The recruitment process was fantastic. The onboarding was a long yet important and valuable learning experience for me. So far my time has mostly been spent in meetings and education to catch up and help the rest of the team on their projects.
Wendy's: It was the worst experience with a job and I had about five not including this since I was 12 years old. This place serves poor quality food. They do not fix anything. Everything is basically not working. The workers are over worked. Being told they do not get a break. They prep food over dirt.
XPO: I love my job and the satisfaction I get completing each day's work. I love working from home and have the best remote team and leadership. I am challenged and credited with a job well done. I feel I can ask questions about anything work related. I value these things. Learning and growing.

The executives sit on the top floor in glass offices completely removed from the peasants pushing papers below them. I have seen loyal employees of over 25 years fired to save costs.

IBM: I am loyal to IBM for many reasons. The people are great, the work is challenging, the culture respectful, the pay adequate. But one REALLY BIG PROBLEM that might cause me to leave is the sustained failure to address capacity issues. We do not have enough people to do the work.
XPO: It has been an excellent experience, although somewhat of a roller coaster due to constant organizational restructuring.

XPO: I have been here several years, have been passed over for promotions for people less qualified than me. I finally get the promotion and they didn't back fill my old position, so I'm still doing that. We have a new management team that is trying to fix everything the old one didn't.

XPO: I've learned more at XPO than at any other organization that I've been a part of. (I've spent 8 years here after 10 years at a prior employer.) I've grown and matured throughout my time here as I've seen the business grow and mature as well. Hoping the best is yet to come!
XPO: I have had the opportunity to work in several different areas here and each and every one of them have been very enjoyable and rewarding in their own rights. It has been really cool to work with people who have been here for years and hear the stories about how this place has changed and grown.
IBM: Overall the company is great. The transformation in culture since our new president from Red Hat joined is slowly coming to fruition however there are still some senior leaders who need to improve. Also need to ensure that when promoting radical candor we do so respectfully & with facts/knowledge.
IBM: Work life balance is challenging. Usually I can manage it but there are times when it is difficult to get away even for the important personal tasks.

IBM: The culture, the people, and the actual work for me is overall a net positive. There are challenges with our leadership being able to effectively communicate and hear the voice of our employees our ability to match the market with compensation, but my experience as a new employee is positive.

IBM: Leader in a lot of areas and focusing really strongly there, but disregarding smaller geographies/countries. I have had great career opportunities, but at the price of investing significant work hours. I work with great people, but also mediocre people do thrive for various reasons.

IBM: I joined IBM as an acquisition, so my identity and alignment to IBM values took a bit longer than if I had voluntarily joined, However, I now feel more connected to the ideals than any company in my history.
