Celebrating wins and recognition for a job well done. This is something that happens regularly. The all hands meeting is something that I am always excited to take part in.
There is a kinship there. It's more than just co-workers. It feels like family. Some just don't pull their weight and it causes unnecessary pressure to complete tasks. Even leads to some having to take projects over on top of their own tasks.
There are other companies who pay $20k more per year to do what I do remotely, so more money, no gas. The workload is also a job for more than 1 person. I find that is a common theme across all workers who have a great work ethic. They tend to be taken advantage of.
