It's been a really good place to start my career. I've gotten to learn about a lot of things I'm interested in and it's gotten me excited about being in the Tech industry. I also really have enjoyed the team and people I've worked. I feel lucky that I get to work with them everyday.
They communicate very well with the employees
Getting shoutouts for doing good work
Successfully solving a difficult problem and getting acknowledged for doing so
There are always fun activities where you can get to know people
My team all works really hard and believes in the goal that we are trying to achieve.
I think their vision is good and their outlook for the company is inspiring. They make me believe that the company has good things in store.
The mindset of always wanting to improve and continue learning. It's really good for me to be in an environment like that while starting my career.
My team is very smart and supportive. We work efficiently and are always trying to improve. It's a good mindset to maintain because it helps me to continue learning more and more.
Not getting a performance raise was a bummer. I've made a lot of strides in my first 6 months. My team is fairly understaffed with QEs, so I've taken on a lot of the work that a much more experienced QE would normally be doing.
I recently transitioned roles and have been getting paid at the baseline of my new role despite having more experience and knowledge than someone else who might be coming from elsewhere to start in this role. I think my experience with Appian warrants better pay in this new role.
