I think FMB has gone drastically downhill since Mark Hardwick became CEO. The values of the company no longer align with my personal values, and I am aggressively seeking employment outside of FMB. This is no place for conservative, Christian, white males.
Better compensation and benefits are always better.
Please stop bowing down to the woke mob.
Obviously, higher compensation to keep up with inflation is the correct answer.
If everyone was capable of doing their jobs that would be great.
I do not agree with the direction of the culture/environment that we are on.
The company went woke and I'm not sticking around for it to go broke.
Pay raises to match the inflation of the past 4 years would go a long way.
Read the room. The overwhelming majority of the country is fed up with DEI. Its time for it to DIE.
Stop forcing DEI initiatives down our throats. As a straight, white, Christian, male, I feel like there is no special group for me. I am the most hated subgroup in this company.
Woke culture/political bias are super apparent and have been since around 2021. Just be a bank and stop taking sides in political issues on facebook. We don't have to virtue signal at every opportunity.
Mark Hardwick has the audacity to put out a video about how much he "loves our DE&I program and says we're not changing anything" Then 2 weeks later the bank quietly rebrands it to Building Community. Hilariously sneaky.
I can't think of much. Half of the BCM's in my region have quit this year. The retail market lead is no longer with FMB. I think the problems start all the way at the top with the woke culture that has been established.
I can't really point to anything great about the culture since Mark Hardwick became CEO. He sends out a Christmas video wearing a T-shirt from some exotic location while the rest of us peasants are freezing here at work. "Buy this book and I'll reimburse you". What a joke.
I have one co-worker that is somehow able to call off every Monday and never works consective days. She claims to have some medical condition but admits to going out drinking and abusing the situation. The bank won't fire her. Another employee sleeps every day and somehow keeps his job.
