
First Merchants has been very good to me. After only a year at my job I had emergency surgery requiring me to be out for two months. I was very grateful for that my manager held my job for me, and worked with me so that I could ease back into work.

As a very part time employee, I don't get any benefits, but I am happy with my salary
This company really does care about its employees. I also appreciate the fact that volunteer work is encouraged
The culture is so different from the last bank I worked for, much more "fun" but still making customers feel special.
Although I was not expecting a raise, I was very pleased that the leadership team made the effort to figure out what salary would support a person in this day and age. I have never worked for a company who cares so much for its employees
