Fantastic so far! I have no complaints!
It is one of the best jobs I have had in the ten years I have worked in finance.
It has been great so far!
I can be me and express myself.
The people and my line of business
Their openness and willingness to help
We just feel like a family.
everyone is open and have a caring attitude.
The coworker friendships I have developed.
Sick days and 401K program
the caring attitudes towards clients
My co-workers I work with.
They are motivated to create a better path for our clients
The people that work around me, they make it worth it.
We like to have fun and really get to know one another.
They make you feel welcomed and free to express your thoughts and ideas.
They always ask what they can do better for me. It means a lot.
I can just be myself and honestly that in itself just assures me I am in the right place.
Once again I can just be myself and excel in what I do. It is comfortable to ask questions and learn from others.
We all get along really well and work well as a team. I can be myself and excel in what I do because I have amazing mentors on the floor!
I am on the newer side but I have to say right now the bereavement time. I lost my brother-in-law recently unexpectedly. During this time childcare was rough because it was my mother-in-law watching my son so having a week to have with family was everything.
Right now, in the economy the common hourly rate you see on signs on billboards is about 20 dollars an hour (McDonald's for example) With a woman with a college degree I am not far off from that pay range. With benefits the maternity leave should not take personal sick time or vacation.
For the role I have I think it is easy to mistake it for just an assistant position, but we do a lot more and every day I feel like I take more and more responsibility on. Also, with the economy the way it is now, what I make is just not sustainable for my family.
