Overall - it's been a great company to work for.
Reliable, quality work, efficient, honest, collaborative
I've experienced: welcoming, diverse, positive
Love my duties/responsibilities and the people I work with
It's diverse and no one person should have any reason to feel different
The company encourages an open work community with no judgement on culture or environment.
I feel like most people who work here are accepting of others and welcoming.
Working with my team members and I enjoy the work that my dept does
I enjoy my role and the work my team does to support the company
Great team environment and I know I can come to work and make a differnece
My direct team members are hard workers and have good communication amongst each other and the team.
Ones that I've encountered are willing to be a true face versus hiding being a screen or door.
Many are willing to help out one another Many have desire to learn more than "their responsiblities"
I have a team that is hard-working, respect each other, work together to accomplish tasks, and appreicate one another.
I have looked at many job opportunities outside FMB and find that I could be compensated more if I chose to leave. There are perks to working for my dept @ FMB; however, those perks aren't monetary value
I see other positions (outside FMB) that pay more than my current position but are on a lower level which is why it's hard to understand that pay is accurate. However, I also value other benefits such as remote work.
They are trying to be more known. It's hard for individuals at the lower end of the totem pole to really know the leadership team so I think it's important for the leaders to find ways to get themselves in front of all employees.
I feel that our leaders are listening to what employees what and feel. They can't make everyone happy, but have done a great job over the last several years to provide different ERGs which I believe is helpful to many. They've also invested in different tools to help with employee wants/needs.
I hear all the time that other FIs pay almost double for a similar position to myself. I've not done the research myself so I would feel better if when I do my own research, I could present the facts to the right individuals and be a voice for better pay in our department
