Decent benefits at a company clinging to outdated structures that create a non-empowering daily experience.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

they seem to be honest, positive

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

People are generally kind in person.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Developing and communicating a sustainable plan that has a path more broad than driving profits by cost reduction.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

there are clearly posted pay bands, but it is difficult to move significantly up in my allotted pay band.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

people tend to think very much in their specific boxes. That can both make it difficult to think larger picture, work on more systemic resolutions.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Previous comments about "negative" work. An environment with shared wins being celebrated and focused on would be significantly better than working to avoid a blame game.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel undervalued from a compensation perspective because I work very hard and long hours on critical high-value tasks and strategies, only to have a salary lower than what I see from peers at other companies managing this type of work.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

There is a lot of things "thrown over the fence" and teams/individuals "thrown under the bus." Perceived misses are much more vocalized than wins. Tasks are sometimes arranged/prioritized based on what will best avoid negativity rather than what is truly in the best interest of the company.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

When there is a good chance you will end the day further behind than when you started, it is hard to be excited about going to work. When a good portion of the day is not focused on growth (business growth or personal growth), and rather focused on how to protect yourself or a "CYA" focus, not good.
