I appreciate that they are forward thinking in some things.
Being able to collaborate with my colleagues around the globe.
Better parental leave. It is difficult to feel valued as a female employee when having to choose between putting bread on my table, or being able to take the time to heal post-partum.
I feel that if we had better paid parental leave, that would show that SPS values us as a person, and not a working machine. We, as a company, also pay below market value in many areas. I believe this increases external attrition.
I feel that 12 weeks paid parental leave would be a start to a better employee culture of valuing our employees through their life and not just their career. Also pay that is openly and clearly discussed, and pay that matches the market and inflation considering how well the company is doing.
