I've been here for a year. My role has grown in positive ways. I've learned a lot.
My team - the actual work.
Accessible, appropriately transparent, clear alignment on goals, support innovation.
Stock compensation. Good combination of base salary, bonus and stock.
It's never boring. There's lots of change, but not at an uncontrolled pace and with an eye towards doing the most important things vs everything.
Stock participation plan (though it's complicated). Bonus is decent and driven by company performance (which results in more collaboration vs over focus on personal goals vs company goals).
Open communication - if someone is concerned or upset about something, there is a good opportunity to discuss and move forward positively. Collaborative. Smart people who really want to make things better for other employees and for customers.
A refrigerator full of fizzy water. The actual work I do/am responsible for. The opportunities to learn. The managers and team members who report to me. My peers. The leadership of the company. Collaboration with other teams and within our team.
Fairly transparent. Personable. Really understand the business and ask great questions. Provide clear communication on Company strategy. Allow people time to learn and grow. Obsessed with customers. Ask for feedback from leadership team on Strategic Priorities and how to connect to employees.
My team is bright and really motivated to do the right thing. People who have been here a long time have less insight into the possible and may need more training to keep up with company growth and the needs of the Company. But there's also value in the historical perspective.
