Over micro management of employees needs to end. Harassment of hourly employees needs to end. Competent training needs to be enforced and corrected if need be. The culture of management looking down on all the hourly employees needs to completely end. The hourly employees of the company are the heart and soul of this business. When no one cares how the day to day operation runs the customers and the employees hurt. No one will want to ship with us and no one will want to work for us. When that happens employees start to question why are we doing this, it's not worth it!
treat supervisor that know what they are doing and can and do the job. right stop babying the new ones they don't stay. increase the old supervisors wage when you increase the new ones . if you have to raise the wage to get them to go supervisor then you really should reward the ones that stay .
Pay part timers more let part timers work 4 a day or more make union dues equal everybody else's not be more here and there they should stick to 2 1/2 times hourly rate and no more. Ban management from doing union work hire more women drivers
There's too much emphasis on package delivery and compliance items are ignored. I would go to a shared score card structure which encompassed all areas i.e safety, regulatory, and environmental.
Fire all the supervisors who are snakes, keep the few who are great. Leave the workers in peace to do their jobs safely and productively as they can.
Remind management that they are working with people not machines. That safety is not a word in the dictionary. That there should be actions behind a word
Address the problems instead of patting each other on the back. So how many accounts have we lost to fedex. Think long and hard on that
Focus on relations between management and hourly. Stop focusing on production so much and find what truly motivates the hard worker.
Unrealistic performance goals based on impossible numbers has the tendency to create a high stress and unsafe work environment.
Less harassment by management...stop over working employees and allow employees to take days off
safety needs to be put first in all things , not just preached about.
Treat employees with respect. Place employees in job positions where they can succeed
Get rid of 90% of management. Pay your part timers more.
Return to employee appreciation like we were before the company went public.
i wouldn't make any changes.. the culture is perfect at UPS

Fire upper management go talk and feed your employees
Reduce hours and make it more family friendly
More understanding of our jobs at the top
