  • The amount that ups management is paid is low based on the amount of hours. Pt hourly employees should be making 15-16/hour. They make 8/hr.

  • Top notch! The best in their industry. Carol Tome is an extraordinary leader company-wise. Locally, we have the best management team in the transportation industry! The managers are customer focused and employee inclusive!

  • Horrendous. Management is the worst part about working for this company. None of them talk to each other and they're all "the boss".

  • Treat you like a number and talk down to you

Awful. Being out of the house for 14 hours a day leaves no time for family or anything else. People who file overtime grievances end being ridden and given warning letters for the dumbest things. Harassment is at an all time high

  • there is no work life balance at UPS and it keeps getting worse.

  • I’m not sure what work life balance means. If you like to work life is great. Your life will be UPS. Hours and hours of overtime. You will miss almost all after school activities of your children. Your vacation choices will be limited for years until your seniority grows. Doctor appointments will require an entire day off. Only if requested 8 days prior. Now the good news. Take care of your body. Bank that overtime. Put in your 25+ years and retire comfortably. Gods speed

If upper managment would actual listen to what you had to say.

  • I'm salary not union and do not receive comparable compensation to union employees.

  • I believe the company has taken away much of the compensation advantages it had, causing an emense lowering of standards of employment.

  • i wouldn't make any changes.. the culture is perfect at UPS

  • Over micro management of employees needs to end. Harassment of hourly employees needs to end. Competent training needs to be enforced and corrected if need be. The culture of management looking down on all the hourly employees needs to completely end. The hourly employees of the company are the heart and soul of this business. When no one cares how the day to day operation runs the customers and the employees hurt. No one will want to ship with us and no one will want to work for us. When that happens employees start to question why are we doing this, it's not worth it!

  • Pay part timers more let part timers work 4 a day or more make union dues equal everybody else's not be more here and there they should stick to 2 1/2 times hourly rate and no more. Ban management from doing union work hire more women drivers

They don't. Your benefits come from the union. You'll get health, dental and vision.

  • As a full time driver, my benefits include health insurance (includes eye and dental), life insurance, two weeks vacation plus additional paid days off and family leave if necessary. The benefits are very nice but they come at a cost. Usually long hours and often very physically demanding. Overall, if you can handle hard work, it is a worthwhile trade off.

  • Very good ones...lol Let's hope they continue. I told hate for a work stoppage to happen. It would destroy their market share

Dress professional like you would in any other company do not dress down thinking it's just UPS they look at that

  • Clean street clothes. Nice shirt no jeans, clean polished shoes or boots. No sneakers.

  • Depends on position your interviewing. If it's a management or office position, business casual would be preferred if not a whole suit. If you're coming in as a preloader, or unloaded, I would be dressed ready to work ( old t shirts because you will sweat, loose fitting, comfortable Jean's and work boots ) because I have seen them go from the interview right to work
