  • Plan on having another job or be young and going to school then this be some extra cash in your pocket because you will not get many hours your check will not be no more than $150 a week starting right off if you looking for a part-time job with a full-time paycheck don't be mistaken by the UPS name when they say you start from the bottom and work your way up to the top they mean it literally

  • It depends on the job. If you meet the public there is a higher standard for appearance and you have a uniform. In the building it’s wear what you want with the exception of shoes.

  • Depends on position. Management is business casual and drivers wear brown uniforms. All other work is comfortable dress with work boots

  • Not at all. You are expected to follow orders blindly. Any questioning of even the most obviously counterproductive directives will result in immediate disciplinary action.

  • I live in one part of the state and work for UPS Can I go to another area they’re looking for drivers

  • Workers do switch from sort to ramp to CTO to driver. It takes some effort and time, but there are opportunities. Talk to other workers about it, talk with people who have made the switch and ask a supervisor if they can help make it happen. Be determined and patient and you can find a role that fits you well.
