Leadership was pretty good but one thing I noticed they weren't really concerned about me they were more more so concerned about the numbers or quota they had to me when I was there they would always clock me out two hours later I never got three and a half hours that's why I had to resign I never was late always on time and I have very good work ethics it didn't change anything I was still always sent home early so I don't think they really care too much about me and my finances it was more so the protocol and making quota for UPS because the managers are on salary so they're going to get a decent paycheck regardless
The big manager for the loaders (back half) is terrible. His name is Shannon, and he berates, belittles, and harassed employees constantly. Plus, he is African American, so he blatantly favors other African Americans. Any other ethnicity gets treated rather poorly. He manages through fear and intimidation. The Supervisors, for the most part, are good people however!
There is a mixed view on the leadership at UPS. There’s not enough good leaders within UPS. There needs to be an overhaul on the emphasis placed in working with management to empower their employees as much as the company emphasize on safety.
Fairly decent, if there’s a problem it’s usually fixed in a timely fashion. But when it comes to the well being of any workers that aren’t drivers no one cares. If your not a driver or supervisor your time is not important
Most are dishonest and will lie to hourly employees to get what they want. Most don’t even know how to drive a package car So don’t know what challenges a driver faces
Top notch! The best in their industry. Carol Tome is an extraordinary leader company-wise. Locally, we have the best management team in the transportation industry! The managers are customer focused and employee inclusive!
Overpowering. The typical tactic was to generate results through threats and intimidation. The common joke among us was it wasn't a real meeting if your job wasn't being threatened.
Hateful, spiteful and vindictive full time supervisors who are mad as hell all the time because of unattainable numbers and 1/3 pay of hourly/union contracted workers. TRUTH!
Horrendous. Management is the worst part about working for this company. None of them talk to each other and they're all "the boss".
Leadership is all about their own numbers and bonuses. They do not care about the customer anymore.
The leadership is brainwashed to push the employees by management that sit behind a desk all day.
The Hub and drivers supervisors are not human. Money and numbers oriented sadly.
you mean the guys at the top that keep giving themselves raises
Horrible haven't seen decent leadership in at least the last 5 years
Treat you like a number and talk down to you
Just like any job some are good some are bad
Beyond terrible, totally out of touch with reality
Some good..... some not so good
There always is one willing leader
Depends who it is
Really isn't any
Very driven
Great
