
Everyone thinks that the CEO is cheap & doesn't care about their employees, cause we work in buildings that don't have good air conditioning & in the summer it's twice as hot in the buildings than it is outside. Also we think we are being worked like slaves for terrible pay cause the work you have us do is not worth the amount of pay we get each week especially us unloaders we have the most dangerous job out of everyone in ups. Unloaders have to unload trucks where there's some that have the most heaviest boxes at top sometimes there is not even boxes at the top of the wall sometimes there's tires, air conditioners, ect. Also some trucks don't even be loaded right cause I've been in trucks where every wall would fall down after just moving a box. To be honest if it wasn't for the benefits nobody would even want to work at ups. I think you should take a visit to 2 of your ups locations (Indianapolis 81st & Louisville airport) to see how management treat the employees & i worked at both
I started a little over 10 years ago, and our present CEO has more than doubled his pay compared to his predecessor, and has demonstrated repeatedly that the only people he cares about are on Wall St. The previous two had ups and downs, this one is just downs unless you're an investor.
Most people don’t like how they are treated. I have no opinion of the CEO and most hourly workers (non management) never comment or voice opinion of him. I don’t even know who his name.
I’m not sure what others may think, but he may not be aware of the true culture of the business. He should be more invested in recognizing the unsung heroes of the company.
CEO has lost sight of the company. They let numbers run the company more and more , and less common sense. Since the company went public they have gone down hill
Never did a day at ups has no idea what we go through it's all about numbers &prophets let him do the jobs for a year or 2
We all assume everything comes down from the top, so he doesn't care about his employees well being or work/life balance either
CEO does not have any idea what actually makes the company work. Board of directors and shareholder. Nothing else matters.
